How and why I built this website.
What I want this website to be
As with all web developers, I too continually give in to the urge to redesign my personal website every 6 months. So this time I wanted to really make it the best one I can.
I wanted to spend the time crafting my words, building a light-weight, stylish, energy efficient website, and keep accessibility in mind at all times.
I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
What I used to make this website
This website is generated with 11ty. I create Markdown files and the website gets generated into static HTML.
For CSS, I use a modern CSS Reset, and follow the HUG CSS Methodology to keep things simple.
System Font Stack for most content, but the headings are Bagnard Regular.
This website is hosted on Netlify, and the repository is on GitHub.
